Buried in Laundry

The good news is that it is great fun for the kids to play in. It is the folding and putting away part that I get behind on. There always seems to be something more immediate that needs to be done like the dishes, sweeping, toys everywhere etc. I need to devise a new plan. What are your laundry routines like? Help! :)

Jeff washes the laundry and I fold it. That means that the laundry is always done on time and is folded several days later. Usually I have it done by the next laundry day. . . usually.

Wanna come do my laundry? Also, I am really into that green in your laundry room.

I wash the clothes--fold the kids clothes and have Little zack put his away and then he helps me carry mommy and daddy's clothes to a chair in our bedroom. We wear clothes off the pile until it gets small enough that it only takes 5 minutes to put away:)

We usually do a load a night after the kids go to bed and fold while we watch tv. We stay relatively caught up this way. I also have an HE washer and dryer. This seemed to help reduce the wash/dry times. I like to fold when the clothes are still warm. It helps with ironing later!

We are twins! First of all, I love the color in your laundry room. Secon, I have piles of clean laundry in my room and thirdly, the girls discovered that they cna play in the dryer in the past couple days and it has become a time machine!

I'm glad that I'm not the only one that gets laundry piles. I think it just comes with the territory of being a mom of kids!

oh laundry! While you're doing one batch, another one is growing in the back room. It never ends, but it looks like it's fun for your kids to play in:) Cute pictures. My suggestion is to teach you children how to fold... Good Luck:)
