Greg returns from Saluda, NC
Bed and Breakfast the film crew stayed at
View from the back porch
Watching the sun rise during breakfast
A lovely hike
Filming some waterfalls
Thought I would post some gorgeous pictures of where Greg has been all week! Don't we feel so sorry for him having to go there for work? ;) I decided I am going to start a list of all of the places he has to take me back to since he got to go there by himself...to support all of us. ;) It was a shoot for the show "Our State" that comes on on UNCTV. Great show about places in NC. Saluda, population 600, is just outside of Asheville. I know Greg would want me to say that he did have to lug some very heavy equipment on the hike and many of the shoots he goes on are not this exciting :)

Aaron loved looking at those pictures because he grew up in Saluda. I was shocked to see "Saluda NC" in the title. It's a beautiful town!
Holy Smokes! I didn't know that! Greg said they have an awesome old general store too that has been around for 100 years or something like that. We totally want to retire somewhere near there :)
Aaron's granddaddy was Mayor of Saluda for years and his picture is in "the grill". Aaron has so many wonderful memories there! You must go in July to "Coon Dog Day" it's so fun and the kids would LOVE it!!
Pretty!! All the video stuff I ever did had me trapped in a ballroom or editing suite. Oh how I wish it had included hiking. Lucky duck.
Awesome! We will check out "Coon Dog Day" for sure!!!
I remember seeing signs for Saluda when we lived in Asheville, but I don't think I've ever been there. Those pictures made me "homesick" for Asheville even though it's not really our home. I never got over driving to WalMart with the beautiful mountains as a backdrop.
Merle Fest is coming up. April 24-27th. You guys interested?
We LOVED seeing you guys! It made our week. Seeing you was a great treat after missing our cruise. We'll have to get back together for sure when Dale gets back.
mmmmm.... MerleFest.
As for Greg, this modified tune comes to mind:
"He works hard for the money...."
