Festivities!

We had a spur of the moment first annual Charlie Brown Thanksgiving party and invited the neighbor children. If you have seen "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving," you know that you must have mismatched chairs, one of them being a rocking chair, a sheet for a table cloth tied into knots on the corners and you must eat toast, popcorn, jelly beans, pretzels and ice cream with whip cream and a cherry on top.

The kids had great fun watching the show projected onto a sheet. They thought it was hilarious and some of them even dressed up. Here are Linus and Lucy getting into character:

Meadow had her first little preschool party. Out of 10 children only 3 were there. It was pretty quaint. We ate chicken nuggets and some other treats, colored turkeys and her Dad made her some sweet pretzel earrings.

The fam came to our house for Thanksgiving this year. It was fun to have all of the siblings and their families there (except for one) and to have Greg's parents with us. Meadow and Parker sure do love their cousins :)

The day after, we broke out the christmas decorations. We had the most fun decorating this year. The kids were so excited about everything and Meadow (3) kept proclaiming "Mom, you're the best Mom ever!" "Dad, your the best Dad ever!" And then she would hug the tree for long periods of time. It was awesome. The next morning, the first thing she said was "Is our tree still here?"
