Austin Stevens, Snake Master Extraordinaire, delivers!

For those of you who don't remember, Parker wrote a letter to Austin Stevens, which we mailed to Africa, and from whom we got a return letter yesterday! Squeal!!

Here is Parker's letter again:

Letter from Austin Stevens:

Also, you may have noticed in the above pictures a little bald spot in the front of Parker's hair. Well earlier this week I heard scissors cutting from upstairs so I ran to the stairs and yelled down "what are you guys cutting?"

Parker happily: "We are giving each other haircuts."

Me: "STOP!"

Parker and Meadow: "ok!"

Happy 4th everyone!

WOW about the picture of Austin Stevens- I love that it made Parkers day! I laughed hard when I saw the picture of the ironing board and the oven rack on the bunk beds too... good stuff!

That is so great of Austin to write back. It looks like he wrote the letter himself too. What a nice thing to do!
I love the picture with the sparklers!
Also, don't be impressed by the last post on my blog. I know nothing about guns, and actually hate them. Jim posted those pictures after an outing with his family. I happily stayed home with my younger boys. :)

Austin Stevens is really cool to do that, although I'm not surprised since Park sent him the cutest letter ever. I bet Ian would like that show too...I'll have to tivo it for him.

I love the sparkler pic, it's begging to be scrapbooked. Glad you had a great 4th...we did as well my sis and her family. xoxo, Lisa

Hey Heather...been stalking you from Heather's blog for awhile. Yes...the snake picture drove me out of the closet. I think that is the coolest thing ever - to get a response from your idol! I bet that made Parker's day! Thanks for having an open blog and come stalk me any time!

Hi there, my son and I were on line searching for Austin Stevens mailing address so my son could send him a letter and we ran into your blog. We were wondering if you could share the address with us or tell us how you found it?? We would appreciate it very much. Thanks!!
